Démarche artistique
 
Au-delà de mes photos de reportage et de portraits, je me tourne depuis quelques temps vers une image et des sujets plus intimes avec un style plus personnel non pas défini par la commande mais par l’envie d’écrire et de raconter des histoires.

Les sujets présentés ici sont les derniers exemples de cette nouvelle forme que je donne à mon approche photographique aux approches formelles multiples.

L’idée est de montrer avec des techniques de prise de vue et des angles différents que tout est possible à photographier et à rendre intéressant. L’important étant la cohérence, l’homogénéité du sujet et de la poésie.

En reportage, l’information nous guide vers l’image et notre travail de photographe est de la transmettre au plus près d’une certaine vérité.
 
Dans la photographie artistique, la forme visuelle donnée à l’image est un point de vue personnel, une prise de position, une réflexion sur le sujet et parfois au-delà, sur soi, et sur l’autre.
 
J’utilise donc pour cela tous les moyens de prise de vue mis à ma disposition en les adaptant aux sujets photographiés : moyen-format 6x6 hasselblad argentique, 24x36 numérique, sténopé, téléphone portable, scans... Cela permet de changer de regard sur les choses photographiées.



Artistic approach
 
Beyond my reportage and portrait photos, I have been turning for some time to a more intimate image and subjects with a more personal style not defined by the commission but by the desire to write and tell stories.

The subjects presented here are the last examples of this new form that I give to my photographic approach to multiple formal approaches.

The idea is to show with different shooting techniques and angles that anything is possible to photograph and make interesting. The important thing is the coherence, the homogeneity of the subject and the poetry.

In reporting, information guides us to the image and our work as a photographer is to transmit it as close as possible to a certain truth.
 
In artistic photography, the visual form given to the image is a personal point of view, a position, a reflection on the subject and sometimes beyond, on oneself, and on the other.
 
I therefore use for this purpose all the means of shooting made available to me adapting them to the subjects photographed: medium-format 6x6 silver hasselblad, 24x36 digital, pinhole, mobile phone, scans... This makes it possible to change the way we look at things photographed.
